odd Cantelon is the host and executive producer of "The Daily Show: weekend edition" for Canadian Television. He has invited me to be his guest. The conversation will be videotaped on Wednesday October 29th. I don't, as yet, know when the program will air or what the subject matter might be. When I learn more, I'll pass it along.

he whole Jackson menage is either seeking, or already sporting, Obama stickers for our vehicles. Our youngest, Devon, is taking off some time to work on the Obama campaign.
At a time when Joe the phoney plumber and Sarah the pseudo serious Governor from Alaska are getting a lot of space and coverage, I think the heroine of the moment has to be Sen.Hillary Clinton. Her whole-hearted support of the candidate has been magnanimous and complete. She has, once again, risen to the occasion and shown her true quality.

Sen.McCain you are not a maverick. You might well be an extremely nice person, well equipped and experienced to be the next president of the United States. Maybe: But, I have not heard any coherent or compelling ideas from you and your pounding gnat-like attacks on Sen.Obama's character have failed to increase your popularity, or diminish his. Now we are down to a few days before the election which will be won by the Illinois Senator, unless something spectacular should occur. I find the prospect of his succeeding President Bush thrilling. I certainly do not envy him the situations he'll be inheriting; two wars, the current economic crisis and so much more. Compare the Republican with the Democrat and honestly, who of the two would most likely build a strong cabinet and appeal to fine thinkers. Who would give us a Kennedy-like gathering of successful people who will bring guidance to our new, young, chief executive. Starting with his Vice Presidential selection of Senator Joseph Biden, the future augers to bring about much change, with a vast improvement in our international relations.
Barack will win some 44 States and the Senatorial gains for the Democrats will end up being veto-proof. I have been wrong in the past, on many an occasion, but this time it is urgent that President Bush go into retirement without a Republican successor taking over to continue the losing and dangerous foreign and domestic policies of the past 8 years.
