And how is the campaign for the presidency advancing? It would appear that Democrats are in control of their destiny. There is very little on the horizon or in the minds of voters that should give hope to the McCain Republicans. Obama has solidified his hold on almost every blue state and gained some solid leads in previously considered red states, including Florida and Ohio. The polls give Obama and Biden a solid lead. At this stage of the campaign the Democrats have larger war chests and an exceedingly well organized voter turnout operation. Even many worried and concerned white voters are turning toward Obama. One debate to go and Mr.Cool looks better equipped to face the nation with ideas and answers to our unique problems than Mr. Hot.

Have you watched President Bush with his several addresses to the nation to re-assure us that all will be well? As he speaks the market gets the message and appears to be plunging.
Joe Klein in the current edition of Time magazine said, succinctly, "In a time of distress, (Obama) has projected comfort and confidence. Is it just me or do you get the feeling that Sen McCain is concentrating so hard on staying calm that he lacks the energy to answer questions in a creative way. Or maybe he just doesn't have the right answers.
