know there is far more important "stuff" in the news that craves our interest and obviously is of far greater concern, but as a father, I should like to make one personal statement about one of the Jackson family. During the next 48 hours, right up until the presentation of the 12th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, you are likely to see the smiling face of an exceptionally talented chef and caterer popping up on many TV shows. It's our son Alan who, once again, will be feeding between 1,400 and 1,600 actors - Hungry people with good knowledge of fine food. I like the SAG awards because it's the award show where only actors vote for actors. Alan will be working, as he always does, alongside his wife, Heidi, in a kitchen they build for the occasion . Should they need an extra pair of hands, I'm ready, willing, and nearly able. It's the awards show where comedy meets drama.
